東京都出身の音楽プロデューサー、編曲家、作詞家、作曲家、ベーシスト、キー ボーディスト、ギタリスト、マニピュレーター。幼少期にピアノを学び、久石譲の様な映画音楽家に憧れを抱くが、小6でHi-STANDARDに出会い、バンドマンを目指す事となる。

ポップネスなメロディメイク、 様々なジャンルをクロスオーバーさせたアレンジメントを得意とし、 BE:FIRST 、eill 、Superfly 、timelesz、sumika、Hyde、Tani Yuuki、MISIA、chevon、V6、ASH DA HERO、ALI、星街すいせい、RADIO FISHなど、数多くのアーティストへ楽曲提供やプロデュース、編曲を手掛ける。また、ユーティリティープレイヤーとしてofficial髭男dism、sumika、BE:FIRSTなど、数多くのアーティストのライブサポートも行う。フロアの熱量を上げるアジテートと、演出も含めた ライブプロデュース能力が高く評価されている。​

2018年より海外アーティストとのco-writing活動を開始、世界マーケットを視野に入れた音楽活動を展開。2022年、若いアーティストを支援する会社「OIKOS MUSIC」を創業。2024年、国籍、ジャンル、性別、世代を超えたアーティストがコラボレーションして音楽を世界に届ける、アーティストプロジェクト「cross-dominance by Ryo'LEFTY'Miyata」をスタート。音楽エンターテインメントの新たな可能性を模索し続けている。

Ryo'LEFTY'Miyata is an accomplished music producer, arranger, lyricist, composer, bassist, keyboardist, guitarist, and manipulator who engages in a wide range of musical activities. Known for his skill in crossing over various genres, having produced, composed, and arranged music for many artists such as Superfly, BE:FIRST, MISIA, Sumika, and eill. Lefty is also a utility player who supports live performances for bands like OFFICIAL HIGE DANDISM, where his ability to enhance the live experience through agitation and direction is highly praised.

In 2018, he started co-writing activities with overseas artists, developing music activities with an eye on the global market.In 2022, founded OIKOS MUSIC, a company that supports young artists.In 2024, he launched “cross-dominance,” an artist project in which artists of different nationalities, genres, genders, and generations collaborate to bring music to the world.
